Video Editing and Podcast Editing

This week we learned how to edit videos using either Microsoft Clipchamp or iMovie depending on what kind of computer you had. We also learned how to edit podcasts using either Audacity or garage band. The video editing was especially helpful. I will definitely try to make a video for one of my inquiry project posts. I have included below a video that I edited using the new skills I learned in the last class, it is the one with goats that we learned with. I had wanted to make a greenscreen video using a clip of my cat but I didn’t have one with a neutral background. I was also surprised to hear about all the possible rentals available from the library. There are many helpful rental items from a go-pro to a tripod.

While I didn’t get a chance to edit anything for the podcast portion of the class, I did learn a lot that I didn’t know before. I will be using Audacity to edit the podcast we need for this class and others.
